National Oilseeds and Vegetable Oils Development (NOVOD) Board is a statutory Body constituted under an Act of Parliament in 1983 with an aim of integrated development of oilseeds and vegetable oil industries in India under the control of Agriculture Ministry, Government of India. During X Plan period, the Board has been entrusted with nodal responsibility for ‘Integrated Development of Tree Borne Oilseeds (TBOs)'. |
