Cost - Economics of various TBOs

 

The cost economics of the various Tree-Borne Oilseeds (TBOs) such as Cheura (Diploknema butyracea), Jatropha (Jatropha curcas), Jojoba (Simmondsia chinesis), Karanja (Pongamia pinnata), Kokum (Garcinia indica), Mahua (Madhuca indica), Neem (Azadirachta indica), Simarouba (Simarouba glauca), Tung (Aleurites species) and Wild apricot (Prunus armeniaca) has been worked out to serve as a reference manual.

 

The various components and the numerical depicted in the cost economics schedule is not the actual but can serve as a guide in general, in Indian context.

 

The cost benefit calculations may vary depending upon the various agro-climatic conditions.
